Dear GISMO members,
GISMO bylaws provide for new elections every two years and so we will be having an election this Fall, 2021. Nominations will be open between October 20th and November 5th. We will be voting for all eight Board of Director members and for the position of GISMO President. The President is a voting member of the Board of Directors.
If you wish to run for a position you must be a GISMO member in good standing as of November 5th. You may self-nominate or be nominated by another GISMO member. All nominees must submit a statement about their candidacy by COB on November 8th. Statements should be no more than 250 words. Members can run for both a Board position and the Presidency, but can only serve in one of those positions should they be elected to both.

FYI…I will be stepping down from my position as GISMO President but plan to run for a Board of Directors seat.
