Speaker: Scott Reinhard
Cartography and Visual Communication
Scott Reinhard works with mapping, data visualization, and graphic design for screens and physical spaces. He is a NYC-based cartographer and graphic designer working professionally for 20 years, previously with the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and the seminal design studio 2×4, and most recently as a graphics editor at The New York Times. At the Times he was involved in some of the largest news stories in the world, some of which were award-winning, including a Loeb Award for Visual Storytelling and a Gordon Parks Award from the Association of Black Journalists. His efforts were also part of the team that won the Pulitzer Prize in Public Service in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
