GISMO Visit to the BCC Geospatial Center of the CUNY CREST Institute

A group of thirty (30) GISMO members led by GISMO founder Jack Eichenbaum and President Alan Leidner will visit the Geospatial Center of the CUNY CREST Institute (330, Meister Hall) on Tuesday, May 1. 2018. The purpose of the visit is to showcase work at the Center which has become an important focus of Geospatial teaching and research at CUNY and an important intellectual hub in the region​. The event will also serve to introduce participants to the special geography in the vicinity of the BCC campus.

Itinerary:

3:00pm – Meet at #4  Burnside Ave. Station Fare Booth
3:30pm – Arrive on the historic BCC Campus
3:40pm – Meet with the Director of BGCCCI Professor Sunil Bhaskaran
3:40pm – Presentation at the Geospatial Computing Center, ME 330
4:30pm – Meet with BCC President Dr. Thomas Isekengbe
4:40pm – Meet with Provost and Senior Vice President Dr. Claudia Schrader
5:00pm – Visit  Hall of Fame for Great Americans, North Hall Library
5:30pm – Gratitude to Jack and Alan and others (Photo shoot outside North Hall – Lawns)

In response, you will receive a message that says Confirmed (there is a space held for you) Waiting List (Confirmed participants will be asked to reconfirm before the event; some of the waiting list may be invited) or Over Subscribed.
